Personalised Oak Tree Swing

There’s something timeless about a wooden swing beneath a tree. Our Personalised Oak Tree Swing is handcrafted for memories that last.

Crafted from solid red oak and paired with beautifully spliced 24 mm natural manila rope, each swing is made to order in our Cape Town workshop. A beautiful addition to a family garden and a meaningful gift for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, new homes and other special occasions.

Make it uniquely yours with optional laser engraving along the front edge, back edge or both. Add a family name, special date, meaningful words, favourite saying or your own simple design.

ROPE INCLUDED

Each swing includes 24 mm natural manila rope, professionally spliced and fitted, with approximately 4 m of rope from the swing seat to the top of the rope on each side.

Need more height? Longer rope lengths can be selected when ordering your swing.

PERSONALISATION

Choose from:

• No engraving
• Front edge only
• Back edge only
• Both edges

Enter your own wording or upload your own engraving design.

The maximum engraving area on each edge is 45 cm wide × 2 cm high. Simple horizontal designs work best.

When engraving both edges, your wording or design can be the same or different on each edge.

HANGING YOUR SWING

The ropes arrive professionally spliced and fitted to your swing. Tree fixings and mounting hardware are not included, as the correct hanging method will depend on your tree and installation location.

Our How to Hang Your Oak Swing guide includes practical hanging suggestions and care advice. It outlines one suggested tree-hanging method using a swing hitch. Other methods and locations may be suitable, depending on the supporting structure. You are responsible for arranging a suitable installation, with advice from a competent installer where needed.

Solid oak and natural manila rope are natural materials, so variations in grain, colour and texture are part of the character of each piece.

As an outdoor product made from natural materials, your swing will weather and require care to help protect the timber.
